Almost dying changed what I chase.

It changed what feels urgent. It changed what feels fake. It changed how patient I am with the lie that real life can wait until later.

Tomorrow stopped feeling automatic

When you go through something that reminds you how fragile all this is, a lot of fakeness drops off.

The small status games lose some shine. The endless delay starts to feel a lot dumber.

You realize how much of life gets pushed to “someday” by people who quietly assume they’ll always get another shot.

That assumption is dangerous.

Today matters more than people act like

People matter now.

Health matters now.

Presence matters now.

The life you say you want cannot always live on the other side of some future milestone that keeps moving every time you get close.

That changed how I build

It made me care even more about time, leverage, freedom, and building a business that supports life instead of swallowing it.

Because once you’ve been reminded how thin the line can be, you stop wanting to waste so much of your real life on things that don’t matter.

That’s one of the scars behind Live Inspired.
