People hear 1DWW and think the point is to work less.
That’s too shallow.
The real point is leverage.
Less work is not the first move
You don’t get to one day a week by wishing harder. You get there by becoming more valuable, making better decisions, building better systems, and getting paid for things that aren’t chained to your constant presence.
That’s leverage.
Leverage changes what time costs
High income skills matter. Better offers matter. Cleaner systems matter. Products that scale matter. Teams that can run without drama matter.
All of that changes what one hour of your time is worth.
That’s the real engine.
The calendar is the output
That’s why I don’t treat 1DWW like the main event.
It’s an output. A byproduct. A signal that the machine is getting smarter and your time is getting less trapped.
That’s what I’m actually after.
Not performative leisure.
Leverage done right.
